Handcrafted with fierce independence by Synthstrom Audible in New Zealand, the Deluge is an all-in-one portable synthesizer, sampler, and streaming sequencer that commands your entire studio without ever needing a computer screen. Beloved by live electronic performers and studio minimalists worldwide, the modern edition of the Deluge has evolved with a gorgeous, high-contrast OLED display to replace the vintage segmented screen, paired with a revolutionary open-source community firmware architecture that lets the world's best developers continuously expand its capabilities.

Beneath its beautiful, real-wood side panels sits a sequencing powerhouse. Featuring an expansive 128 RGB pad grid (16x8), the Deluge handles piano-roll-style polyphonic sequencing, live clip launching, and full linear song arrangement with zero artificial barriers. Tracks are structurally infinite, limited only by the internal CPU rather than arbitrary bar restrictions. It can output separate data strings simultaneously across internal synthesis engines, dedicated streaming sample lanes, 16 hardware MIDI channels, and physical CV/Gate outputs, cementing its status as the absolute master brain of any hybrid electronic setup.  The sound generation engines are remarkably deep. The Deluge hosts a full-featured internal synthesizer block capable of subtractive, wavetable, and multi-operator FM synthesis, alongside full MPE expression support. As a sampler, it streams massive audio files and multi-samples directly from its SD card, skipping standard internal RAM size constraints. You can execute real-time pitch shifting, time-stretching, and live audio looping with seamless overdubbing directly through the stereo line-in or integrated microphone. Powered by an internal rechargeable battery, the Synthstrom Deluge is a complete, uncompromising production studio that goes wherever inspiration strikes.

Deluge is our flagship product. Three years in the making, it is an all-in-one, stand-alone, portable synthesizer, sequencer and sampler designed for the creation, performance and improvisation of electronic music.
