Be amazed by what you can achieve by using this vintage-inspired delay module. The powerful OTO Machines BIM 12-Bit Delay unit sits on your desk and provides massive amounts of flexibility. Adding beautiful 12-bit stereo delay to your signal path, this unit has been inspired by stereo delay processors of old.
Inspired by the musicality of this sound, the BIM can take any signal and turn it into a wide and vibrant soundscape. Guitars, drums, synths, and more, it all sounds incredibly when sent through this delay module.
A truly musical delay unit
If you're after a delay that can bring incredible new flavours then the BIM is the delay module for you. If you want to explore new soundscapes and sonic environments through your guitar, synthesizer, drum, or even field recordings - the BIM will not disappoint. If features true 12-bit converters, with analog limiter, companders, filters, and feedback paths.
It can send delays up to 3276 milliseconds in stereo meaning it's great for creating new landscapes of sound. With just a twist of a dial, send your signal on a mind bend journey and explore worlds you thought impossible.
Vibrant soundscapes made easy
If you want to add beautiful soundscapes to your music productions, sound design, or live shows, then the BIM provides. This powerful tool will take any signal and turn it into something different. Whether you want to add slight delays to your guitar sound or want to completely morph a snare strike, then the BIM will allow you to do this. It's a flexible delay that will always sound great.
It has a tonne of options that allow you to take control over your sound and shape it to your whim. Including such things as an LFO. This four waveform utility means you can twist your signal in new and interesting ways. Or the high and low pass filters which help you craft your sound on a much more involved and deeper level. It's the whole package and a must-have - whether you work in ambient music, sound design, beat making, and anything else you can think of.

FAQs
FAQs
Q: Why does the BIM use 12-bit processing instead of modern 24-bit?
A: The 12-bit technology is a deliberate choice to capture the "grit" and musical character of legendary 1980s studio delays. It provides a unique warmth and subtle saturation to the repeats that sounds more "alive" and sits better in a mix than a perfectly clean digital delay.
Q: Is this a "true bypass" pedal?
A: Yes. The BIM features a high-quality relay active bypass, but it also offers a "seamless" mode. This allows your delay tails to ring out naturally after you bypass the effect, preventing abrupt silences during a live performance.
Q: Can I sync the delay time to my project tempo?
A: Absolutely. You can sync the BIM via MIDI Clock or use the dedicated Tap Tempo button. It also features a built-in LFO with 12 different waveforms, allowing you to add everything from subtle chorus to wild, pitch-shifting modulations to your echoes.
