The Quandrantid Swarm is a versatile and unique instrument for sound designers and musicians who want to explore exquisite and unknown timbres ranging from sophisticated to aggressive, nebulous to shimmering.

It consists of a digital synthesizer voice with a percussive element, a two-pole analog filter, an LFO with eight waveforms, and a spring reverb. The eight touch buttons can be used as a mono keyboard, a polyphonic keyboard, or an 8-step sequencer. Communication with other instruments is via MIDI and CV/Trig inputs. Pre-patching allows you to start playing immediately, but you can and should use patch cables to fully unlock the instrument's potential.

The Eowave Quadrantid Swarm is a hybrid desktop synthesizer designed for those who find inspiration in the unpredictable. At its core is a digital oscillator engine with eight distinct synthesis modes—ranging from crystalline strings and organs to gritty noise and chiptune textures. The signal then flows through a characterful dual analog filter (inspired by Eowave’s Fluctuations Magnétiques) and a genuine, built-in spring reverb that adds physical depth and vintage grit. With its touch-capacitive interface, the Swarm can be played as a monophonic or polyphonic instrument, or used as an eight-step sequencer. Whether you are patching it into a Eurorack system or using it as a standalone performance tool, the Quadrantid Swarm excels at creating the kind of "organic" electronic textures that feel alive.
