The Analog Chorus 60 is a perfect clone of the original juno-60 chorus circuit.
Instead of the two buttons with only three rate modes, a knob to smoothly control the rate of the chorus, depth of the modulation and the stereo width were added. (the rate of the original modes is clearly printed around the rate knob for easy recreation of the original rates)
Additionally, an ext. LFO/CV input to apply other modulation sources and input gain to accommodate any type of instruments (guitars or synthesizers).
Housing in a high quality aluminum case with durable UV printing and high quality “Alpha” potentiometers.
Technically, the pedal uses the original circuit with rare chips such as the Xvive MN3009, Panasonic MN3101, and transistors 2SC1815, 2SA1015, and 2SK30A-GR, just like the Juno.
FAQs
FAQs
Q: Can I use this pedal with standard electric guitar signals, or is it strictly for keyboards?
A: It works beautifully with both. While its input stage is explicitly upgraded with custom operational amplifiers to accommodate the high-voltage outputs of desktop synthesizers and Eurorack rigs without ugly digital clipping, the continuous Input Gain dial lets you pad or amplify the entrance gain perfectly. If you are plugging in a passive guitar or low-output vintage instrument, simply turn the gain up slightly to hit the bucket-brigade circuits at their optimal sweet spot.
Q: How do I recreate the exact factory Chorus I and Chorus II sounds of the original synth?
A: On an original 1982 Juno synth, you were locked into three static choices via physical push buttons. MadeOnEarth expanded this layout by swapping the buttons for fully continuous potentiometer controls. To make sure you can still find those historical sounds instantly, the developer meticulously measured the internal LFO rates of the original hardware and clearly screen-printed the precise markers directly onto the enclosure faceplate around the Rate knob. Simply line the dial up with the printed indicators to nail the classic sounds flawlessly.
Q: Does the External CV Input handle standard control voltage ranges from a Eurorack modular system?
A: Yes, flawlessly. The 6.35mm external input jack is built to read external control signals like modular LFOs, complex envelope sweeps, function generators, or expression pedals. Inserting a cable into this jack completely detaches the internal analog LFO circuit, handing absolute, speed-accurate command of the bucket-brigade modulation clock over to your wider modular ecosystem.
