PLUS 3 - desktop expression and sustain pedal that adds control and unlocks features in MIDI controllers, synthesizers, effects pedals and semi-modular/eurorack instruments, some in ways never before possible.

Plus 3 is designed for musicians who prefer compact desktop control of functions instead of sustain and expression pedals. It features a fader for expression control and a sustain button; the second button is a "drone mode" that lets you free your hands and hold notes indefinitely.

This product is particularly useful for adding an expressive physical fader to MIDI controllers that don't already have faders but do have an expression jack. Synths or Daws with a mod matrix can map the Plus 3 fader to different parameters, or even macros that control multiple parameters at once. Plus 3 is passive and made of aluminium.

The Plus 3 can also be used with modular synths. A TRS breakout cable (included) allows the Plus 3 to be connected to semi-modular and eurorack gear. This breakout cable allows you to use the expression side of the PLUS 3 as an attenuator and the sustain side as a gate control for the CV.

Included:

  • Plus 3
  • 1 meter TRS cable for the expression side
  • 1 meter TR cable for sustain side
  • TRS breakout cable for modular systems

Blip Expert Take

Most standard expression pedals are built strictly with electric guitar players in mind. They usually lack switchable polarity, use potentiometer tapers that jump too abruptly on synth inputs, and take up huge amounts of precious pedalboard or floor real estate. The Endorphin.es Plus 3 completely solves these performance headaches.

Having two dedicated side footswitches built into the side of the expression pedal is an absolute game-changer for live electronic sets. Instead of stomping around three separate pedal boxes to change presets, trigger tap tempo, and sweep filter cutoffs, you manage everything from a single pedal. You can sweep the filter on the Endorphin.es Ghost Pedal or Ground Control with the treadle while using the left side switch to sustain a pad, and the right side switch to scroll through program patches or punch in rhythmic freeze loops.

Who Is This For?

Desktop Synthesists & Modular Performers: Electronic musicians who need a reliable, high-headroom expression pedal to sweep filter cutoffs, adjust pitch-bends, or send control voltages into Eurorack setups.

Live Pedalboard & DAWless Acts: Artists using multi-effects units (like the Ghost Pedal) who want to combine parameter morphing, tap-tempo clocking, and preset cycling into one compact, passive foot controller.

FAQs

Q: Does the Plus 3 require a power supply or batteries to work?
A: No, not at all. The Endorphin.es Plus 3 operates on a completely passive analog circuit. It draws zero electrical power from your setup, meaning you do not need an AC wall adapter, power brick, or 9V battery to use either the expression treadle or the side footswitches.

Q: Will the expression pedal work with synthesizers and pedals from brands other than Endorphin.es?
A: Yes! The Plus 3 is equipped with dedicated hardware polarity switches on the side panel. Because different manufacturers (such as Boss, Moog, Roland, and Line 6) use different internal wiring standards for expression jacks, flipping the polarity switch allows the Plus 3 to match any brand's expression input curve seamlessly.

Q: What can I use the two side buttons for during a performance?
A: The side buttons act as independent momentary footswitches. You can patch them into any hardware jack that accepts standard sustain or control switches. Common live uses include tapping in delay tempo, sustaining synthesizer notes, triggering drum machine fills, switching memory banks, or engaging freeze/reverb tail hold functions on digital multi-effects units.
