Animal Factory Pit Viper Eurorack Module takes the venomous overdrive circuit beloved by artists like St. Vincent, Fink, and producer Flood, and reimagines it from the ground up for modular synthesizer artists. Boasting expanded gain reserves, voltage control, and a dedicated 6dB state-variable filter EQ section, Pit Viper cuts through any mix with authority.

The core overdrive circuit feeds directly into a flexible state-variable filter borrowed from Animal Factory's Bonesaw architecture. With individual level controls for Lowpass, Bandpass, and Highpass outputs, you can independently blend and sweep frequency bands to craft biting leads, saturated mid-pushes, or deep warm growls.

An FM knob introduces aggressive frequency modulation into the filter stage, adding raspy grit and harmonic edge that responds dynamically to incoming modular signals.
